Moongenz ($MGENZ) is a community-owned utility token deployed on Base, Coinbase's Ethereum layer 2. It is designed for a generation that was priced out of the last cycle and does not intend to sit out this one. Through a 12-stage USD-priced presale, a tiered referral program, a transparent staking pool, an arcade with real token rewards, and a locked liquidity plan, Moongenz aligns incentives between early buyers, community growers, long-term holders, and active players.
This whitepaper is version 2. It supersedes version 1 in full. Version 1 described mechanics (Ethereum mainnet deployment, HEAT stage bonus meter, flat referral rate) that were revised during development to serve the community better. If you read v1, drop it and read this instead.
Most token presales concentrate upside in two groups. Insiders who got the address early. Whales who move enough size to matter. Everyone else pays a higher price at a later stage for a smaller position and no meaningful way to grow it beyond just buying more.
Moongenz was designed to change that in specific ways. Three mechanics do the work: a tiered referral program that pays growers more as they grow, a staking pool that rewards holders through the presale and beyond, and an arcade that gives active community members a real chance at bonus tokens. None of these require whale-sized capital. All of them are auditable on chain.
setMinter(address(0)) to permanently zero out the minter role, followed by renounceOwnership() to remove admin control entirely. Both are one-way actions verifiable on Basescan. See section 15 for the complete TGE runbook.Every token minted during the presale is transferable to and from a specific set of contracts only (buyer wallets receiving them, the staking contract accepting and returning stakes, the treasury multisig setting up liquidity). Buyer-to-buyer transfers, DEX trading, and open-market swaps are impossible until the Token Generation Event (TGE).
This solves a specific problem. Without a lock, stage 1 buyers could dump on stage 5 buyers, punishing anyone who arrived later. With the lock in place, every presale participant waits together for the same TGE and enters the open market on equal footing.
At TGE the team calls enableTransfers() once. It is a one-way switch. There is no re-lock function in the contract. Anyone can verify this on Basescan by reading the source. After TGE, ownership of the contract may optionally be renounced, permanently removing any admin capability.
Fixed at deploy, verifiable on chain.
The team cannot mint above this distribution. The 60 percent presale cap is enforced by the presale contract itself, which refuses any credit operation that would push total minted past the cap.
Twelve sequential stages. Each stage has a fixed token price denominated in USD and a fixed allocation. Prices increase 20 percent per stage compounded, from $0.001 at stage 1 to $0.00743 at stage 12. Stage 1 is the cheapest price MGENZ will ever have.
Stage N only advances to stage N+1 when 100 percent of stage N's token allocation has been minted. There is no time-based override, no stagnation escape hatch, no manual "flip the switch" for individual stages. The team cannot advance stages to push prices up strategically. The community controls the pace entirely: stages move when, and only when, they sell.
This is enforced at the smart contract level, not just as a policy. Anyone can read the source on Basescan and verify. Every buyer knows exactly what they get: stage 1 price stays for the full stage 1 allocation, without exception, until it is entirely bought out.
Because there is no time-based stage advancement, one safety mechanism is needed to prevent the presale from being permanently stuck if community demand dies mid-stage. That mechanism is endPresale(), a one-way close callable only by the multisig. It does not skip a stage or force a price change: it ends the whole campaign. Any tokens in stages that were not fully sold simply never mint. They are effectively burned by never being created.
This design is intentional. It preserves the "each stage price is honored for every token at that stage" guarantee absolutely, while giving the multisig a way to close out cleanly and proceed to TGE if the raise runs out of momentum. Buyer positions are unaffected either way: whatever you bought at whatever stage stays exactly as you bought it, locked until TGE, then tradeable.
Payments are accepted in over 300 cryptocurrencies through NOWPayments. Confirmations trigger the backend to call creditPurchase on the presale contract, which mints the buyer their tokens (still locked) and records the transaction on chain.
A 10 percent marketing fee is added to every purchase. If tokens cost $100, the buyer pays $110. The extra $10 is collected in the paid currency and directed to the marketing multisig, where every spend is transparent on chain. This is not a token dilution: no additional MGENZ are minted for the fee. It funds visibility, listings, and community programs.
Every wallet that buys at least $10 of MGENZ automatically activates a personal referral link. The link takes the form moongenz.com?ref=[your wallet address]. Sharing it earns you bonus MGENZ every time someone buys through it. The buyer on the other side also receives a 10 percent bonus.
The referrer's bonus is tiered based on how many people they have brought in cumulatively.
Tier upgrades apply to future referrals only. Past referrals stay at the tier they were earned at. This keeps the accounting simple and the contract compact. Referrer bonuses are minted directly to the referrer's wallet on the same transaction as the buyer's mint. There is no manual claim, no delay, no gatekeeping. The buyer's own bonus is always 10 percent regardless of the referrer's tier: both sides win, but the referrer scales with growth.
The $10 activation gate prevents farm attacks (creating throwaway wallets purely to refer each other). Anyone can share a link, but only wallets with real skin in the game earn from it.
Once the presale reaches stage 6, staking opens. Holders can lock their MGENZ in the staking contract and earn additional MGENZ from a shared reward pool.
Because MGENZ is transfer-locked during presale, the staking contract is exempt from the lock. Staked tokens and their rewards remain non-transferable until TGE. At TGE both principal and accrued rewards become tradeable.
What "up to 25 percent APY" means honestly. The emission rate is fixed at approximately 142.86 million MGENZ per year for 7 years. The effective APY you personally see equals annual emission divided by total staked. Do the math: at 570 million tokens staked, APY is exactly 25 percent. If less is staked (early days, or during a bear market), your APY is higher (potentially much higher). If more is staked (staking gets popular, big holders participate), your APY is lower. This is standard for pool-based staking. The "up to 25 percent" phrasing is meant to communicate "the target APY at moderate participation" and not a ceiling. Early stakers in low-participation windows will see higher rates.
Moongenz Heat Rush is an arcade game embedded on the site. Players connect their wallet, pick one of four characters (each with unique perks), and play in Classic or Rush mode. Scores are submitted on gameover and appear on daily, weekly, and all-time leaderboards.
Rewards are structured to reward both consistency and standout performance:
Bonus credits stack with the marketing fee (fee is calculated first) and with referral bonuses (both apply). A player who plays well AND buys through a referrer gets both benefits.
Anti-cheat measures: score-per-second ratio caps flag obviously spoofed submissions, wallet address must be connected for a score to count, and rate limits prevent replay abuse. One bonus per wallet per 24-hour window prevents farming across multiple sessions.
Every purchase includes a 10 percent surcharge that goes directly to the marketing multisig wallet. If a buyer wants $100 worth of tokens, they pay $110. This is disclosed upfront on the buy page, reflected in the payment invoice, and shown on the transaction receipt.
The fee funds the things that would otherwise dilute the token supply: paid promotion, KOL partnerships, influencer deals, community programs, exchange listing fees. Every marketing spend is transparent on chain. The alternative (minting new tokens for marketing) would silently reduce the value of everyone's holdings. This model asks buyers to fund visibility explicitly, in exchange for a fairer supply.
Phase 1 (now): Groundwork. Site live, contracts written, audits scheduled, early list open, community seeding.
Phase 2 (weeks 1 to 12): The Drop. 12-stage presale opens on Base. Referrals live from day one. Staking opens at stage 6. Arcade rewards issued daily and monthly. Community grows through referral loop.
Phase 3 (post presale): TGE and Listing Day. Transfers unlocked via one-way switch. Liquidity paired and locked. DEX pool live on Aerodrome (Base's primary DEX). CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko submissions filed. Contract ownership renounced.
Phase 4 (post-TGE): Run It Up. Centralized exchange listing pursuits. Bridge to Ethereum mainnet for cross-chain trading. NFT drop for early holders (top presale buyers plus top referrers plus arcade monthly winners). Ongoing arcade tournaments and staking programs.
TGE happens after the presale reaches stage 12 (all 12 stages sold through) AND all three audit sign-offs are in hand.
We do not commit to a calendar date. Because stages only advance when sold out, timing depends entirely on how quickly the community fills each stage. Every buyer can watch progress live on the transparency page and calculate their own estimate from the sell-through rate.
The firm TGE date is announced when the presale reaches stage 20. At that point 71 percent of the allocation has been sold, listing prep can be locked in, and buyers have real runway to prepare. When you see stage 20 hit, expect the TGE window within 30 to 45 days of that milestone.
Until stage 20, the honest answer to "when is TGE?" is "when we get there." Watch the transparency page. Bring friends via the referral program if you want to speed it up. The community's activity is the only lever that moves the timeline.
The target listing price is $0.015 per $MGENZ. This is set slightly above stage 12's final presale price of $0.00743, giving liquidity depth room to defend the price against day-one selling pressure.
Concrete listing multipliers from this starting price:
Why not list higher. Every project that lists significantly above its final presale price sees the same pattern: presale buyers rush to sell at the top, the liquidity pool cannot absorb the sell pressure, price collapses within hours, and buyers who did not sell fast enough end up underwater. Listing at $0.015 protects the price floor so that gains are real and holdable, not paper multipliers that vanish in the first hour.
Post-listing, the community target is $0.069 per $MGENZ. That is a 4.6x from the listing price, and a 69x from stage 1. This target is not a promise, not a prediction, and not a commitment. It is a rallying number the community can build toward through organic demand, real utility, exchange listings, and holder momentum.
Whether $0.069 happens in month 3, month 12, or never depends entirely on what the community and market do post-launch. The team's job is to build the product, defend the price floor at listing, ship the roadmap, and be honest about what we can and cannot control. The rest is the market's call.
At TGE the following happens in sequence, publicly and on chain:
enableTransfers() called by multisig, unlocking all walletsrenounceOwnership() called, permanently removing adminCryptocurrency is a high-risk asset class. Smart contracts can contain bugs even after professional audit. The value of MGENZ can go to zero. Regulatory environments in your jurisdiction may change and affect your ability to hold, transfer, or realize gains on MGENZ. The presale team makes no promise of future value, no promise of a specific listing price, and no promise of returns of any kind.
Read the full risk disclosure before participating. If any of it is unclear or you are uncertain how it applies to your circumstances, do not buy.
An honest statement of what is not in this project.
